For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
Jesus is one in the Godhead with his Father. Baby Jesus, God’s eternal Son! He is called the Everlasting Father, and the MIGHTY GOD. Savior; God; Father and Prince. The Messiah is God.
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
Hebrews 1:8
This is God the Father saying to his Son, your throne, O GOD, is eternal. God calls Jesus God, therefore they are both God. Psalm 110 is quoted here and it’s clear the Father honors the Son as God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1
Both John 1 and Hebrews 1 make it clear that Jesus was God eternal.
Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
Romans 9:5
The original Greek says “God eternally praised.” Jesus is God eternally praised. He is eternal, he is God and we are told to praise or bless him forever.
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God.
Philippians 2:6
Here the Bible teaches Jesus was God, and equal with him. ONLY GOD CAN BE EQUAL WITH GOD. He humbled himself and became a man. This chapter teaches Jesus voluntarily lowered himself to become human to save us. Some use this to say he is somehow less than the Father. I say this shows his love and humility. A willingness to serve doesn’t make him less equal; he is even greater than he was because he has shown such great humility and love. Jesus is God and is equal with God. God told him to sit on a throne. God is worshipped upon his throne. Jesus must be worshipped as God because he is equal in every way with God.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 2:9
The fact the Bible says “GODHEAD” shows that there is more than one. To have a head of God means there is more than one person. Godhead implies more than one. The fact that Jesus has the FULNESS of the Godhead means he is fully God. Christ is God, and he must be worshipped. If you deny this, you are denying Christ’s eternal divinity. The Bible says anyone who denies that Jesus is God Eternal is anti-Christ. Arianism is what the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons teach. This is false and the church has condemned it as heresy for 1700 years. If you don’t accept him as your Savior and worship him you cannot be saved.
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
Isaiah 43:10, 11
These texts teach that there is only one God, and that if Jesus came after God, he cannot be God. God is our ONLY SAVIOR. If Jesus cannot be God then he cannot be a Savior. There is only one Savior, God, therefore if Jesus is our Savior he must be God.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Titus 2:13
Since the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is both THE GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR, what they are teaching you is NOT BIBLICAL. There is only one Savior, one God. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are GOD. God is our Savior, there is only one God. None can come after God. Jesus is God and we must accept him as our Savior and worship him as the angels and man are commanded to do! (Hebrews 1:6: “And let all the angels of God worship him.”)

2 Peter 1:1
Jesus is both God’s righteousness and our Savior. He is God, he is our righteousness and He is our Savior. Since there is only one God and the three distinct persons are all called God, then the three persons must be the one God.
And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 28:17-19
This text teaches us that when the disciples saw him THEY WORSHIPPED HIM. They are only allowed to WORSHIP GOD. It’s plain to see if you have eyes to see. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are all worshipped as God. I AM and YHWH are all names of these three persons in ONE GOD. Jesus was clearly worshipped as God by the Father (Hebrews 1:8), the angels and the disciples.
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
John 5:23
Here Jesus states clearly that he deserves all the worship and HONOR of God. Should we give Jesus all the honor we give God if he is not God? NO! The Bible says if you do not honor Jesus EXACTLY as you honor the Father you are denying both. Don’t follow false teachers. Follow the Bible only.
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
John 20:28, 29
Here THOMAS WORSHIPPED JESUS AS GOD. Jesus accepted his worship and said those who believe he is God who have not seen him will be blessed. So you see, we are supposed to worship him as God. The Bible is very clear here on this.
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:10, 11
They are telling you “He should not be worshipped as God,” but this text tells us every knee in earth and heaven WILL WORSHIP HIM. He will be worshipped by man and angels alike. Accept him and worship him as your God and Savior.
And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Acts 7:59
Stephen, one of the holiest of Jesus’ followers, when dying at his stoning called upon JESUS AS LORD AND GOD. He was clearly worshipping his God and PRAYING TO JESUS. We should only pray to God alone, right? And yet here is God’s man Stephen praying to Jesus, and calling him God. We are not only supposed to worship him as God but we are COMMANDED to do so!
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Revelation 14:7
The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelation 4:10, 11
We are commanded to worship the God who created heaven and earth. The 24 elders worshipped Jesus on the throne because he is the creator of all things.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Colossians 1:16, 17
Jesus is clearly the one, the God who created all things. He is eternal and existed before all things. He is God and as such is worshipped by God the Father, the angels, the 24 elders, and his disciples. Jesus pronounced anyone who believed in his deity without seeing him, as Thomas did, to be blessed. I am one of those he spoke of, who not seeing, worship Jesus as the God who sits upon his throne.
Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
Matthew 2:2
As the Magi came to worship him, I invite you to come to Jesus and worship him too. He is your God, your only hope, YOUR ONLY SAVIOR. Accept him, worship him and teach others to worship this Everlasting Father, and Mighty God. The biblical evidence is overwhelming. Seventh-day Adventists teach the truth that there are three co-eternal persons in one God.
Jesus is eternal God! Worship Him, the Messiah God! Yeshua Hamashiach!
